Fucking hell, we couldn’t have had much worse preparation for such a big game 🤦‍♂️

Really good interview. MB taking it in his stride. Both Edwards and Jones would have made a big deal of it.

Agreed; I like Bloomfield. Shame he wasn’t brought in post Boro; we’d probably be safe by now!

We’ll see how we shape up tomorrow. Fucking typical of this shit show of a season though!

Agreed. I think the vast majority are of the opinion that the change should have happened after Middlesbrough. That said, if it had happened then, would we have got MB?
Either way, he's a brilliant appointment in my humble opinion. I'm obviously critical of many things this season, like the rest of us but Sweet got this one spot on from what I've seen so far.

Would possibly have gone for Robbins at that stage? Despite the public rhetoric, I reckon they were at a stalemate with negotiating paying up Edwards contract. It got to a point where it had gone beyond being untenable.

For me, Bloomfield was the right manager, wrong time. His track record illustrated he was a slow starter, but would turn things around after several months. Ultimately, that’s proved the case here, as his first 8 games only yielded 3 points. We’ve returned 12 points from the last 7, which is play off form, so that suggests hopefully he’s got to grips with things.

The injury/illness situation this week has made tomorrow very tough.

Hopefully we’re now in capable hands with Bloomfield, despite what division we end up in next season!

Had it not been for some of the worst defending I’ve ever seen, for the 3 goals at Oxford (which can’t be laid at Bloomfield’s door) we would have got at least a point and the league table would look significantly better, even with only 4 points from 8 games. I believe he is, and was the right appointment at that time.

Yep. We looked good at Oxford.
Unfortunately our defence were like something from a Carry On film.
