For me it was important for Oxford to lose. I can see them dropping.

Plymouth, Cardiff will go down. Up to Luton to get their sh!t together. Hoping safe with win over cov!

God sake need EA and CM to get some goals. Incredible how poor they are. Had more goals between them last year than Southampton this season!

Can’t get what’s happened to them.

Is it no service or they have turned to dogshit.

Last night they offered no threat at all bar one scuffed shot.

We can't waste our time worrying out other teams just yet.

Get 4 points from the next two games.

        Control the controllables.

Basically tonight's results mean we have to beat Boro, simple as

Maybe, but other teams around us were always going to pick up more points in some games. Maybe they'll slip up in other fixtures? Who knows. We've just to focus on ourselves and hopefully start to build a bit of momentum. 2 wins from 3 is a good start. Remaining unbeaten against Boro will help. I actually think we could beat Boro. Dunno whether we will but they're far from invincible.

Wins for Portsmouth, Blackburn and a draw in the hull/Oxford game would obviously have been better, but I’ve never really bought into the argument from some that it will take a historically low pints total to stay up. Not when anyone can beat anyone in this league. Ultimately we probably need another 15-16 points to stay up. Get to 49-50 and I think we’ll be safe. So we need at least 4 wins, starting Saturday.

As of tonight I wouldn’t have Oxford in my teams to go down simply because they are 5 points clear , of course this could all cag age on Saturday but has of tonight it’s 3 from 4 for me .

No. Oxford have a horrible set of fixtures.

We don’t have a great set either.

Our run-in isn't too bad at all

Leeds is the only game I'd write off and even Portsmouth beat them

Our home games are against 3 inconsistent teams (Boro, Coventry and Bristol City), 1 team in currently awful form (Blackburn) and Leeds. All of them are winnable, even Leeds if the pressure is getting to them. Then we have away games against 3 poor teams and a tough last day fixture at West Brom. Our fixtures could be worse.

It’s not likely, but I don’t think suggesting we can beat Boro, Blackburn, Bristol City (H), Hull and Derby (A), lose v Coventry, Leeds (H) and West Brom (A) and draw v Stoke (A), for example, is impossible.

Jones managed 16 points from 9 games after he came back post-lockdown.

                            Remember that team.

I thought they were gone but the spirit they had was immense.

I don’t see it with this lot if I’m honest.

Last night was comical, two absolute whoppers clashing.

IMO. coming back to win on Tuesday after conceding, having not won an away game since September, and after the disaster of Saturday, shows quite a bit of fighting spirit.

                                Last 3 games

-Portsmouth - scored and sat back. didn`t look like scoring another really. Up until that header didnt look like conceding. Good 3 points but pompey were awful

-Burnley - didnt expect anything but a lot of questionable ref decisiosn to make the result a lot worse than it perhaps should have been

-Cardiff - 2 poor teams that we shaded. But could have gone either way - and took JC getting angry man city cup style to get one back (can i suggets we make sure we send him out angry as he tends to try shots he shouldnt that fly in when he does).

I dont have much confidence to be fair (which i normally would) - because our strikers in any combination are goal shy and our defence has an error in it. Our goals are coming from midfield and we need more than that. Spain won a tournament with a "false 9". Nit suggesting we try that but if our strikers arent scoring...

15 points out of that list?
