Good job we won last night

Tonight's scores about as bad as they could be at the moment, except for Hull-Oxford.
Still, at least it'll give some cheer to poor old Brainz who seems to have gone AWOL.
It does feel like that - normally you'd settle for 7 points from a block of 4 games, but I think we're in a position now where that won't ne enough - in any event at some point we're going to need to put together a run of more than one win in a row.
I have a feeling that not all of the current bottom three teams will end up relegated, but I wouldn't like to hazard a guess who will be the team(s) that stay up.
If we go down, aside from the horrific away form, I'll be looking at the points dropped against Preston, Millwall and Plymouth in that run of home games in particular.
With my optimists hat on - Plymouth, Derby and Cardiff to go down. But anyone can beat anyone in the championship. Portsmouth beat the the first placed team at home at the weekend and lose at home to the team in 24th today. A Blackburn equaliser would salvage the night a bit. Though ultimately I think hull will finish above Oxford so I don’t mind Hull winning too much. Whether we can finish above either of them is another matter…
Having had a great run when Rowett first took over, Oxford are in freefall. Hull get results like beating Sheff Utd and Sunderland away so I think they'll have enough
So, on balance I think I'd prefer Hull to win... if there is to be a winner in that game
This ability to fuck up so spectacularly is why I still don't have too much optimism despite last night. We can give ourselves a chance by getting results in the games against Hull, Stoke and Derby but we haven't got much margin for error.
But now 2 wins from 3 games. We're hitting form at the right time.... Ok so that might be pushing it a bit but we're surely due a run of better results. Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
