IMHO, Sweet should absolutely remain. Just my opinion though.
It is also my opinion that we absolutley and desperately need a DoF. The gargantuan task of delivering Power Court needs full attention, leaving the DoF to handle the footballing side of things.
Hopefully any future DoF will come equipped with the ability to massively kick everyone up the arse and get answers to questions of just what the fuck has been going on for the last two years.
No I was interested to see what other people thought.
Just as an aside, I know you are obviously still reeling from when Mr Sweet metaphorically put you over his knee on here for leaking notes from a private supporters meeting, but you don’t have to pander to him still, he gave you an autograph in the pub so he has obviously forgiven your misdemeanour.
Steve, what is it you have against him? From my eyes this guy has been incredible for the club. He's done more for us than pretty much anyone. Sure he's made mistakes, but i'd say the positives far outweight the negatives. I'm not in the know, but please do tell what the issue is?
I have stated numerous times before I think Mr Sweet has done a great job for the club, and as you say mistakes have been made, managerially, commercially etc etc, it's impossible to be perfect in any role.
I have believed for a long time the everyday supporter is treated with contempt though.
Communication has been piss poor for years and years

Trashed our seats without a second thought
Price increases in the richest period in the clubs history
£200m in the bank and the toilets are still a fucking disgrace, no hot water, often no means of drying your hands
No phone signal and no Wifi
Overseen one of the biggest mis-managed disasters over the last 18 months, in the history of Professional football, with zero accountability.
Let's also factor in our club is stationed within one of the most deprived working class areas in the country, and WE are told not to be Billy Big Bollocks, and "We're working class but class" and all that fucking waffle, and then you read the accounts
Whilst I don’t agree with all that I do find it odd that certain posters get very prickly if you question some of the decisions made over the last 18 months . As has been posted multiple times GS and the board have done a fantastic to get us financially secure and a new stadium on the way. However just as they received lots of plaudits on the way up they shouldn’t be beyond criticism when things are going pear shape. Imo I think GS is a much better CEO when we are on a tight budget ..similar to certain managers who fuck up when they suddenly have money to spend. I would like him to step back from the playing side of the club and concentrate on running the business side of things . He should still have a suite named after him at Power Court …The Sweet Suite….😂😂

That’s an odd way to describe replacing the boxes, which held about 2000 or so people if full, with a new stand holding far more, So now the capacity is about 11000 rather than 10000.
At least unlike you he’s brave enough to post his objections rather than trying to suck up to the clique and disciples as you do in the hope of some kind of acceptance which you obviously don’t get in your life away from this board
