We've not put a run of decent results together all season. We're boring to watch, lack any creativity, let goals in easily and struggle to score. What makes you think that is going to change now?

I don't think it's likely to change. But a good result can breed confidence.
Plenty of teams change fortunes without a specific catalyst. Look at QPR earlier in the season. Pompey, too. Both were dogshit, then suddenly started doing well.
Is it probable we'll stay up? No. Is it possible? Of course it is.

Of course it is very very unlikely we will win our next 2 games but the margins for now remain fairly small, win our next 2 and we suddenly look a very strong bet to stay up, problem is we simply don’t look good enough and I’m not sure there is a saviour waiting in the wings, some immense untapped talent yet to be unleashed. That horrific thing called hope keeps jumping on my shoulder whispering things like Burke will stay fit and make a massive difference at the back, Chong will come back and tear the league a new one with a Birmingham type show every week, Nordas will get on, score and then be unplayable etc etc

It’s a ‘must not lose’ game even if it’s not a must win. If we lose I don’t think we’re catching Cardiff. Would be down to 3 from 5 (and I think Hull have enough to escape so probably 3 from 4).
