    Next Season and FFP

    Assuming league one.
Maximum of 60% of turnover can be spent on players wages.
Turnover likely to drop to around 10 million maximum but the parachute money will give us a massive advantage.
Shows how important it would be to bounce straight back at the first attempt.

My worry is we'll be stuck with a lot of the current lot, hoovering up a lot of our so called advantage of having parachute payments.

They will be earning their handsome salaries and no other club will want to pay them what they're on here.

A bit like Jack Rodwell at Sunderland in Sunderland 'till I die.

Yes, although there were relegation clauses I doubt there are second relegation clauses.

We might see a bit of a fire sale in the summer. But even such reduced fees could go a fair way in League One.

75% for newly relegated championship clubs. The parachute money would mean it's not going to be an issue for us in our first season anyway.

Birmingham can spend so much because the owners have invested significant money in them in the form of new equity. This season that can go 100% on wages if they so choose. Next season that changes to a lower percentage.

          Hasn't really detered Birmingham.

Their TV money will be around £2.5M.

Big difference is our attendance will drop to around 9000 Birmingham get 26000.

I’d suggest 9000 might be optimistic particularly for evening games

Will only bring it about £10M in revenue.

Stansfield cost that alone in the summer.

Attendance of 26000 x 23 games x £26 ticket price is £15.5m not including drinks and food.
Also add sponsorship. Executive deals etc.

                    VIP

I assume that they have season tickets that work out at lower than £26 per game. Then, there are concession rates which apply to a fair number. Ticket prices include VAT which isn't income. All of a sudden, that 15.5m is massively reduced.
