….. otherwise I would have been off doing other things, days out, watching cricket, relaxing in the garden. First time in years I’ve felt this way. And the reason, as many have said it’s the clubs fault, we have not a reason to rally against. So sad. And I know so many others who feel this way..
There's plenty of other things to do if one isn't enjoying LTFC at the moment. Yesterday I chose to take the 2 youngest to Wembley. Next week I might go and watch a bit of non league football. I've spent the best part of 40 years travelling up and down the country watching us, a little break from it now and again does you good. Especially when what we are currently watching on the pitch is so fuckin depressing and predictable.
Agree, just been down Cornwall for a while, signal was shit, so no point looking at my phone, did not know the Pompey result till about 7.00, never bothered me. Previous I would doing my best to get latest scores. Actually, if the Mrs would like to do something on a Saturday, I might well do it!
Agree, I've been going out of habit for some time now and to see mates and have a beer.
RE misread our reaction (clapping them off) at the end of the games last season and saw it as an endorsement of him dismantling our DNA. Perhaps the club did too. He took away our huge team spirit, never say die attitude, managing the game, fighting for everything, hard to beat, niggly club.
Big rebuild needed. Lower mid table in League 1 next season as it'll take 3 more windows to get rid of the dross and bring in some talent. Mr J.C. Lomax having been called upon to give his opinion upon the proposed formation of a Town Club, said he was most emphatically in favour of a proposed Luton Town Football Club - 11th April 1885
