I Thought we Played Well Today!

Until Naismith handed the points to Burnley, we made them look bang average.
There is a noticeable change in tactics and confidence. Even after we conceded, heads never went down and we still looked to get forward.
Let me put it this way, compared to the shambles that unfolded on the opening day of the season, Bloomfield is finally turning the ship around.
Not too sure that we have enough games left to survive and we need to start scoring goals, but if we do go down, I have far more confidence in us challenging next season, than I did compared to 2 weeks ago.
Despite losing 4-0, it was one of our better team performances of late. "You stupid boy!"
I sort of agree. We certainly easily held out own in the first 20 minutes. It's not the first time this has happened to us either from a questionable but very significant referrees decision going against us.Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
Isn't that the point though. We were holding our own, not looking likely to concede until the sending off. Not bad considering how dire our away form is against one of the top teams in the division.
They had 79% possession, 16 shots and Edwards had our right side on toast the whole game. I think we managed one shot. Might have been effort but the gulf in quality was unreal considering we finished higher than them last year.
Bit depressing luckily didn't see the ma5ch. Been supporting for 57 years through ups and downs. This season has been the worst how we have gone so bad in such a short time. Had thought we stood a chance in becoming a yoyo club, a major championship team until the ground gets done then we could push on. I think we will now become an average division 1 team struggling to get out of lower mid table, playing in a two third empty stadium. This season should have been our chance to impose the club as a force instead we have wasted our one chance. We have assembled the most expensive squad in our history and its proved to be rubbish. Sorry I give up.
