    Post match interview

I thought MB was spot on.

Some very iffy decisions by the ref that went against us which completely changed the game. Not the first time that's happened to us this season.

He got a bit twitchy with Simon Oxley, and rightly so

        Rubbish.

        You make your own luck.

Naismith didn’t need to make that second challenge when on a yellow. The goals conceded were pathetic as per usual away from home. Control the controllables!

It was a bit idiotic that Naismith went in like that already on a yellow - but he shouldn't have been on a yellow in he first place.

In isolation Bloomfield and you are probably right but it ain't the fault of referees that we have lost FIFTEEN away games out of 18

          Utterly pathetic squad

We’ve played 36 league games. How many of those have we played well in?
Portsmouth away, but we shot ourselves in the foot.
Scum at home, but they bottled it, however we returned the favour at their place.
Sunderland at home but somehow managed to lose it.

Other than that I’m struggling to think of any other game. The list of poor performances however is very long.

              Yes

In terms of what this shower of shit is costing/has cost us in wages and transfer fees, the squad is amongst the very worst in our history. Right up there in amongst our very worst seasons

              Abject failure all round

Agreed. But both MB & I were actually only referring to this game! It's hardly MB's fault for most of the previous games.

                Which is what I referenced

Tired of this squad and its excuses and sob stories

Yep. I think we're all fed up of this season and can't wait for it to end. So much of me doesn't want relegation but my head knows it's almost a certainty. And with the way things are, despite my optimistic nature, this squad has demonstrated that it hasn't hit the bottle for a fight either to stave off relegation or a promotion push. I'm afraid the next 15 months or so look bleak.

Well, I hope they haven’t been [/]hitting the bottle.

But they don’t seem to have the bottle.

To enjoy the good times, need to suffer some bad times too.

And the ref was inconsistent, but naismith should know better.

Next two games will decide our fate.

Our fate is already decided. We need snookers to get out of this now. Although today may have been a free hit, others around us continue to pick up points and now we've got a suspension to deal with. We just don't look like we're doing anything away from home. Hull, Stoke, Cardiff, and Derby must be rubbing their hands with glee knowing they've still got to play us at their homes knowing that avoiding defeat will all but secure their survival.

We need snookers to get out of this now.

In that case, we should put Joe Johnson in the team and bring back Steve Davis and Kirk Stephens

I said may because that's what some have said. No game is a free hit - otherwise what would be the point in turning up whenever we play someone better on paper than us.
