    Might as well just start planning for promotion back next season I reckon. Sadly this squad simply aren't good enough for Championship level football.

        Yeah but these players aren't Championship level unfortunately. Some past it, some just at the start of their careers and still learning and some simply not good enough. A fully match fit Doughty is probably the only decent player now.

          I can't see us coming straight back up unless we're willing to do what Birmingham have done and that's to spend 3 million plus a time on players. We'll probably only go back to paying under a million a time if in league 1.

          So many decent sides in that division it will be difficult.
