I like Godfreys in Harpenden, but by Christ its expensive.

Ocean Breeze on Katherine Drive is decent.
Wigmore very good. Best one I've been to around here is Godfrey's in Harpenden, though not quite within 5 miles of the Kenny. The Bluebird chippy on Clifton Road used to be a belter but its now some kebab place and different owners.

Went out in Harpenden with my lads last Saturday.
Everywhere was overpriced, and every pub was full of some proper “ Rupert”
So up itself.
Much prefer Hitchin..

Not for us. Locals, and the prices tend to keep the LU crowd out tbh. Maybe McDs would suit your budget.

One on Lyneham Rd used to do great chips and a cracking spam fritter.
