    Steve Robinson & Tom Lockyer

Two of the names being suggested on Hatters Talk. I think this shows there really aren’t many credible options to replace Rob.

As Richard Money once said: be careful what you wish for.

Look at the betting list for Coventry and there's lots...Van Nistelroy too?

I actually think Rob Edwards is set to stay. However my list would include approaches to:
          Mark Robins
          Leroy Rosenior
          Matt Bloomfield
          Edin Terzic
          Fabio Grosso

I'd also give Moyes a speculative 'would you?'

I hope you mean Liam Rosenior, and not Leroy?

            Manages Strasbourg now.

I also think Rob will stay. If he does then I hope he gets away for a few days with his family.
If he doesn’t stay then from that list I’d choose Leroy Rosenior. Was unlucky to lose his job at Hull. However I believe he’s managing in France.

Half of these suggestions are credible and half are ridiculous - Edin Terzic is currently linked with the Roma job so I highly doubt we can lure him to Bury Park.

To be fair that was my wildcard. Grosso is currently at Serie B ( 2nd in league) and has largely managed lower half of Serie A and Serie B- could be an interesting and gettable approach.

We've an international airport 15 mins from the training ground - should not underestimate that as an asset.

If a change has to be made.

I’d rather GS be honest with us and take some of the flack.

Build bridges with Taylor and start afresh.

When RE said at the start of the season the aim was to win the league, you weren't happy about his honesty.

                  Now you're demanding full disclosure?

He believed what he was saying.

So I’d like to know what happened with his transfer targets.

Walsh and Moses cannot have been Plan A,B or C……

You really are becoming more unhinged and delusional.

What club do you know lists their transfer targets and why they missed out on them?

Nobody would ever do business with us again and most players would think twice about entering a discussion with us.

Where did I say list their names?

The point being that if RE had targets and then the club wouldn’t support then it shows he is trying and being undermined by our transfer policy.

Specifically around PL loans that are clearly a difference between us and many of our rivals.

You keep banging in about transparency in the transfer market. The only way to be totally transparent is to specifically name targets and why we didn't sign them. Like I say, no club will do that.

'PL loan targets'. What evidence do you have that we would not pay a loan fee?

its probably more a slight on hatter stalk than any credible options.

its all futile as we have a manager (as i type).

Hatters talk is a load of shite that page. There are managers out there even if ya get a interim in and then get someone next season. Look abroad bundesliga like where Brighton got their manager from there are people there its just whether the board have the balls to go for someone

I don't get this position, tbh.

We're hardly going to be reliant on a shortlist cooked up by the armchair tacticians who post on social media. When have we ever appointed a manager who the fans wanted or mentioned?

Did anyone foresee John Still or Nathan Jones being appointed?

Re: Steve Robinson & Tom Lockyer

I see where you’re coming from, and of course I’d hope the board could find another Nathan Jones.

The only difference now though is whoever comes in will be under a huge amount of pressure. A lot more than NJ in 2016. Is an unknown young coach right for that?

Then you look at the experienced options currently available, and I’m not sure any of them would quite fit here.

Indeed. It's a difficult decision either way.

I think others have said as much, I don't think we would go for the likes of Robins.

Re: Steve Robinson & Tom Lockyer

I'd be very surprised if Robins fancied us anyway. Aside from the fact he'll probably fancy a bit of a break, I'd imagine he'd want something a bit different to a near carbon copy of what he's just left.
