Ffs I was in borough market yesterday morning and said to the mrs I don’t feel safe in London , went all over london and only see one police car @ south bank bridge after walking down the river to Vauxhall past the fire station and international maritime building

Plain clothes police and cctv I guess ? .

Genuine question, why do you need to see police to feel safe? Often safety is a state of mind. Think safe, keep your wits about yourself (ie don't doze around glued to your phone with earphones in), be aware of your surroundings and you should spot potential danger way before it comes to you.

Very true. About a month ago I walked from the London Eye to Shepherds Bush in the evening. I saw one police car in that time.
Was in New York in May. Very very visable police presence and in numbers.
