    One for the “cheerleaders”

Posted by Cuba on 10/11/2024, 17:55:41

Make an honest précis of the post match RE interview from yesterday.

How can our manager speak on those terms and still maintain the confidence of fans and players.

And once the captain starts berating his team mid-game it’s abundantly clear something is seriously wrong.

The confidence went a while ago. Edwards body language hasn't been right most of the season. Let's just hope for Robs sanity and mental health that the club accept his resignation this time.

That said, given its quite clear that Gary wants to do things on the cheap regards the playing side of things, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Alex Lawless promoted to the job.

Give it a rest. You’ve made your point over and over again. It’s getting boring.

When was there something genuinely positive to post? The football is awful, the manager is making weird decisions and many of the players don’t seem to care.

Hatters captain Carlton Morris is adamant that Edwards' popularity remains as strong as ever in the dressing room.

"I can only speak for myself and on the players' behalf," Morris told BBC Three Counties Radio. "But we're 100% behind him. We love the gaffer. He's done so much for this club."

However, the solution is not to keep carping and criticising, but to get behind the team.
                              Or don’t you agree?

Agreed or post, if you like! However, people tend to fall into two broad groups. Optimists or Pessimists (glass half full or glass half empty).

Is it really any different to those good folks who fall into the optimist/ glass half full camp repeating their positive thoughts without really being able to demonstrate what they are basing their optimism on? This is a Luton Town message board so rather boring football posts than some of the other boring shite posted on here?

Vibes, feels, and various other metrics are far more important than results, competence and accountability.

Questioning things is utterly haram, as is trying to actually debate anything which may upset people with power.

We all should just sit back, happy clap, and consume.

China's feeds are by and large 'positive' educational content.

The UK's feeds are by and large divisive political/cultural content, which quickly drag people into black holes of extremism.

This pattern can be found everywhere in society. When's the last time you heard the media, news, politicians speak about competency, education, forward planning, skills, etc? it's all cuture war bullshit, fucking everywhere.

You're not rewarded here for being the best at what you do, you're rewarded for being ideologically aligned.
