    Reason must prevail

Having supported the club since seeing Malcolm Macdonald as a boy I have hardly missed a home game I think we all need to stop & take a breath . We have been used to winning since John Still and expectations have been raised by the Play off win (which reduced me to tears)
Rob Edwards is one of the best managers we have ever had
but is learning on the job and made mistakes .
I admire Mark Robbins as a manager but he has got it wrong far more times than he has got it right and at Coventry worked with a bigger transfer budget than we have.
We have reached a crossroads and it can be either a Richard Money
Or John Still moment. I want the latter 100%
Do not let Johnny Come lately fans who have only known winning set the agenda! There are plenty of us who remember Braintree or even Hillingdon and need to stand up as one and get behind the board Rob Edwards and the team.
We are Luton we have learnt from past mistakes . We are not like all the rest and most of all Rob gets us and deserves time and supportCOYH

‘Johnny come lately fans’ , total bollocks I’ve been watching since 65 and I can see RE has to go, he’s out of his depth, he’s fine when things are going well but hasn’t got a clue what to do when things start to go wrong, something he proved last season and again this. So all this bollocks that it’s just the glory hunter fans that want him out is just that, bollocks. I know many fans that have been going as long as and longer than you that are saying he has to go and go now before he takes us down to L1, how do you explain that?

So which Luton managers do you rate Edwards higher than?
          Dally Duncan
          Allan Brown
          Alec Stock
          John Moore
          Ray Harford
          Harry Haslam
          David Pleat
          Mike Newell
          John Still
          Nathan Jones

          All of the above?

I think you'll find he has checked out mate.
We need someone 100 per cent committed.
Edwards needs to look after his well being and the club should put him out of his misery.

This is absolutely spot on. Edwards has definitely checked out. Clear to see from his last few interviews.

The players aren’t daft (maybe with the exception of Walsh!), and they know he’s checked out.

Surely he goes in next 24 hours and I really hope he does, but I’m still not convinced he will.

It seems like his mental health is taking a hammering. That's not good. And he needs to sit down with the board to discuss an exit strategy. He deserves a decent send off and some of the vitriol being dished out to him is bang out of order. I wish him well and thank him for what he's achieved for us but I think, for everyone's sake, it's time to part company.
