What do you dislike about the way we play now?

In no particular order these are mine:
1. We usually have 2 or 3 shots on our goal in the first few minutes where we are lucky none of them go in.
2. Whenever we are on top we rarely look like actually scoring.
3. Then we usually concede a soft goal against the run of play. Quite often due to a lack of concentration in defence.
4. Under sustained pressure we look very ropey defensively. As if we are going to concede under every attack.
5. The way certain players spend more time trying to win dubious free kicks than just playing and winning duels by being the better player. I'm thinking specifically of Morris and Chong here. I like both of them but wish they would remove this part of their game plan, it's usually so obvious as well. Makes me cringe.
6. Adebayo's inability to head the ball consistently well. He might get 1 in 10 that is decent. Who is coaching him on this aspect of his game?
7. Adebayo's inability to stay onside. Again who is coaching him on this aspect of his game?
8. Lack of fight. The previous 2 seasons we were lauded for our never say die attitude. Where has this gone? Heads drop too readily now.
9. Lack of staying power. Under NJ we pressed relentlessly and it paid off. We don't seem to have the stamina to do this anymore. Why not?
There's probably more things I have missed but overall I no longer feel as though we have enough conviction in the way we play. Something in our culture has changed for the worse over the last 12 months.

10. Every set piece is exactly the same. Alfie pit both arms in the air and tries a long floated ball to the back post (often not beating the first man) for Morris. It rarely gets there but causes problems when it does. Sometimes we get a header in on goal when it's under hit but usually is either caught by the keeper or headed clear.
Why can't we try something different for a change - like Middlesbrough's opener yesterday. Or anything at all.
Re: What do you dislike about the way we play now?
Wouldn't disagree with any of those and mainly they are a result of kamikaze tactics and the poor results eating away at confidence. In general we've lost our identity and teamwork that got us so many wins. Lockyer, pelly and Morris were central to that. Edwards has tried to change this for positive reasons but it just hasn't worked. The players are still there so getting back to anywhere near us possible it just needs a manager who gets that results rather than performances is what is needed.
Re: What do you dislike about the way we play now?
As I said yesterday, when teams get behind us they always pull it back, our CBs are always sprinting towards our goal and we don’t have a midfielder in sight, it’s happenned countless times this year and led to the corner for the first. We need some midfielders with a commitment to defending our box and Krause is the only one of those currently playing who does this. It’s our poncy passing weak as ahi midfield that’s causing his problem but RE won’t play layers who will do their whole job properly
Re: What do you dislike about the way we play now?
I think teams end up reflecting the personality of their manager. Also, I think managers only have cycles, after a while if the team isn't refreshed enough the players don't listen/hear what's been asked of them.
Re: What do you dislike about the way we play now?
Point 5 for me is the worst, it’s the cowards way out. Try and beat the man, get your pass off or shot away. Nowadays their first thought is to win a free kick instead of scoring or just holding there ball up. As OP says Chong and Mortis especially guilty lately.
