So, we’re having a bad start and probably will not be clear of relegation until maybe 2or 3 games from end of season. May even still be in with a shout of play-offs until last 6 games.
Luton are, always have been and probably always will be, a ‘fragile’ club. It doesn’t take much to send us in either direction!
2020 have performed wonders over the past 10 years to get us where we are. No doubt, we were in the Premier league at least 3 years ahead of the plan.
RE is one of the best young managers in the game and I’m sure will always manage at a high level. The last two years particularly have been incredible. If we do stick with him, which I really think we should, he will be stronger for it.
He has been let down by 3 things - poor recruitment of average ‘journey man’ players, two ineffective transfer windows and a medical team who are just not doing their job in terms recovering injuries and players back to full fitness in a timely manner.
I know there will be people who will disagree with me, but I’ve been on the ride since 1967 (Read, Dougan, Jardine, etc.), so I’ve lived the peaks & troughs many times

I have backed Rob until yesterday. That team selection was him being stubborn and playing his recruitment and not starting morris was just crazy.
Get a new manager who can assess the squad and pick the best players and formation to be competitive.

Would any other club accept his managerial record?
Are we doing something right by keeping him and they are all getting it wrong?

The medical team have not been great. Far from not getting them back in a timely manner, they have actually been breaking them by pushing too hard to get them back.

Does sticking with Edwards mean you accept Woodrow starting a league match and Taylor being jettisoned?

Also thinking that Walsh and Baptiste, who have started barely two dozen games between them over the last seasons, was going to work?

All very well but he wants to leave you can tell and he didn’t need to mention it in various post match and pre match interviews.
With last season and locks and everything he needs a year out I think.

RE is doing a great job imo. Just needs £20m in the January transfer window.
