Resting players madness

We now have 2 weeks to recover, but I’m not sure Rob will be with us when we play next, as someone else said if Jacob Browne was carrying a knock why wasn’t Taylor in the squad.
I dont understand the problem with Taylor, must have been worth a punt by now but cant understand why he hasnt had a chance, even when included in the squad...in reality we may never know what he is like, he might not be the answer and maybe crap but he at least deserves a fair chance as all others seem to get...weird...
I am as much a gobshite fan as anyone but to be fair we are not in training every day and RE has to make judgements on what he sees. No doubt there are some strange selections going on including freezing out Taylor but we don't see all the information. To me basically I am not sure about the quality of our squad. I think we have some poor players but who are being played as regulars and with little to replace them. As many have said here we are basically worse off than our last championship season in terms of playing staff and of course other clubs have moved on.
Agree we don't get any points for what the players do in training its about having the right match mentality during matches. Today there was no pattern to our play, too much ball watching, unforced errors but worse than that we lacked team spirit, heads went down and they started blaming eachother for mistakes. Our whole philosophy the past few years has been our aggression and togetherness as a team. Watford and the Sunderland games apart we haven't shown that. We have a manager who constantly has to make excuses for our poor performances and shoulders all the blame. The players have to have a good look at themselves. If they don't want to put in the effort then move on. I feel for the fans who made the long journey at great cost and were served up with that. I hope the players felt ashamed at that performance as they gingerly walked over to half applaud the fans. Problem is I don't think they care.
