Solely to blame for the lacklustre displays? Surely the players have to have a long hard look in the mirror and ask themselves if they’ve given 100% in recent games. Lots of arguing and finger pointing etc today even at 0-0. As soon as it went 2-0 lots of them gave up. Where’s the flair, intensity and full bloodied commitment that was there last season? It’s turned into a weak half arsed display from too many of them most weeks. With the exception or Morris, Clark and Holmes. Majority of the rest today looked like they couldn’t give a shit.

Holmes looks like he genuinely gives a shit. Unfortunately he's a League 1 player.
Edwards needs to go unfortunately but no way is he solely to blame.
The players need to shoulder a huge part of blame and GS aswell. The lack of investment in the squad is fuckin shocking. For that reason you've got to feel a bit sorry for RE. Punching with one hand tied behind his back. But what changes if a new manager comes in? Surely no one worth their salt will come if there's no money to spend? Unless the purse strings are slackened a bit, pointless changing things.

Agree they are also to blame but I think tactically we have been poor for months, if you set up wrong and play long ball crap then it brings everyone down if it’s not working; the handling of the Joe Taylor situation is poor too whatever has gone on. Agree though collectively the club takes the blame, Rob and his staff, Gary Sweet etc but this is football and the Manager takes ultimate responsibility for this shower.

He’s not 100% to blame. Agree some players look to have stopped playing for him a bit. New players not quite bought in tk the intensity that long-serving players like Bell, Morris, Clark, Doughty know all about.
However, he’s increasingly making strange sub decisions, and his insistence of sticking to his formation is sucking any confidence out of us.

Perhaps they can’t give 100% because they’re not being trained properly. I keep saying it but fitness is a problem. If you don’t get a proper preseason in it fucks up the whole season. I hate to say it but Watford recognised it
