From both of these we have one way, lump it across. They varied it and the low ball to the man at the near post who then pulled it back for a goal was sublime. And in the pre match talk RE said they were aware of their pull backs etc. They also had players in open spaces receiving the ball, we had little or no space. Middlesborough had class- we had nothing. We passed to them often rather than to a team mate. Overall we were pathetic. Our large coaching staff should be questioning themselves and the manager should resign.
Watched that Latte bloke take a long ball down on his chest, sell Menghi a dummy then score with his left foot. Seconds later watched Adebayo, unmarked, try to chest a ball down, and saw it bounce off him about ten yards away. And he doesn't even bother bringing HIS left foot with him on match day.
Taking the ball down, beating defenders and scoring is something Ade did last year in the PL. Against much better defending than what Mengi showed today I might add.
