If we the average fan can see that the starting eleven today wasn’t strong enough to compete against a good side then why can’t Rob. I don’t buy resting and rotating players to the extent he did today. Half the team was changed, no defensive midfielder, no service to the front players and few attacking options. It was only going to end one. Thought that now we have players back we’d see a change, but sadly the performances are still well below par. Rob holds his hands up at the end of every defeat taking total blame. I await with interest to hear the post match interview or maybe I already know what he’s going to say.

He rotated because in previous three-game weeks we've run out of gas in the third game.
