Terrible signing, the worst in our history.

You plank. Can't look for a scapegoat after a bad team performance. Also did you never see Adam boyd if you're looking for bad signings....

You’ve forgotten Danny Spiller, then? McGuinness has looked good recently until today, and picking him out is unfair when everyone was shit.
We should have bought many more players for £6m - McGuinness’ actual fee - this summer. That’s the going rate for a Championship player.
Why the club only spent money on one player is another discussion. But McGuinness has played well in enough games to suggest he’ll come good. The players aren’t to blame today. Edwards is.

Whatever the fee, we overpaid because we panicked as we thought Mengi was off. The transfer window was a shambles.

Mengi is not all that anyway, we should have sold him and Eli for big money, I’m glad we kept Alfie.

We would have sold them for big money.

However no one offered big money.

Agree .. he's a bang average championship player. Only worth 2 million at best

Under a good manager, he'll be worth quite a bit, not £10million, but certainly close.

A strong, tall centre back will always have trouble one on one against short speedy forwards if playing a high line.
