      Not enough support for the manager, both financially and communicatively.
      Very poor transfer policy over the past 2 windows.
      Couldn’t keep Sweet off the airways last season, but this season has left Edwards to do all the talking on every subject.

      It's his job to look at the situation, get the correct pieces in play, and allocate resources to maximise their potential.

      Millions were spent on a manager whose successes were built off the back of Jones. They got greedy and assume a big contract would result in a Prem team snapping him up for £5mil later down the line.

      Edwards looks horribly out of his depth, and doesn't look well. A decent leader would recognise this and make the decision.

      The board's gamble failed, and they need to suck up the financial loss and own it.

        But 2020 have never been like that - they have always been a team and not like other clubs. So I don't see how the 'buck stops' with one person when we are talking about 2020?

        No. This is on Rob, imo.

        It's football, things aren't always going to work out as you had hoped.

        Just need to make sure we're doing the right thing for the club - which they've a superb track record of doing.
