Our spineless media

When is someone going to actually have the balls to ask RE some serious questions. What is his problem with Taylor? Why did he have to sell before buying in the summer? Why does our squad appear to get more injuries than most?

You do it. Set up a website. Go to press conferences and ask the questions nobody else will.
Everyone will rush to read your insights and you’ll make millions
Maybe just Maybe the whole coaching staff see him in training week in and week out. And the believe that he isn't up to championship football just yet. The reason he is still at the club is due to other transfers not coming off. Otherwise he would have been loaned out. End of story. Please stop the constant where's Joe. Has anyone seen Joe? What is up with Joe?
It's a legitimate post. The questions are what any serious journalist would ask. What possible use or interest is a tame club interview. Don't you as a serious fan want to know the answers to questions that hundreds are asking?
You think there are any serious journalists working in local media, here on anywhere else in the country???
It's all been taken over by the big conglomerates like National World (who own Luton News/Luton Today, with local news rooms closed and mostly now syndicated reporting generated centrally or by AI. Reporters like Mike Simmons have very little freedom. Lutonian probably our best bet.
Mostly because I'm not a swivel-eyed loon sitting in my pants with a tin foil hat on my head, assuming everything is a conspiracy and DEMANDING ANSWERS.
Far too many of our fans have the emotional intelligence of a toddler.
The fact you've gone on a proper flounce over someone asking a few questions about our club does sort of make you look like a swivel eyed loon sitting in your pants with a tin foil hat on your head though.
It's just one of the usual desperate attention seekers.

I’m not sure we necessarily get more injuries than others but I do think we’ve got a policy of taking calculated risks on buying players with quality that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford if they weren’t injury prone. Mengi, Bell, Barkley, Burke and Elijah for example would be playing regular Prem football with functioning hammies. It’s served us well but means we also have these periods of being patched up.
We’ve probably got one or two too many injury prone players across the squad. Bell, Mengi and Burke always seem to hit the ground running when they return but Marv, for example, looks out of shape again and will need games.
'Our' media? You're probably not going hear much 3CR are you?

Taylor's a young forward who is a few rungs down the pecking order. He's not as good as Brown, Eli, or Morris and is a less rounded player than Woodrow.
Not focusing on a reserve team striker after a win isn't a sign of the media being spineless.
Why do you think we had to sell to buy in the summer? Barkley left because he's Champions League quality player. Ogbene left on deadline day after we had already spent money.
Well from their discussion he pretty much talked around it saying that it's a squad game, other players had proved their worth in the team etc. To be honest I wasn't paying it too much attention.
So if you had a huge row in your work place and your manager happened to be asked for details by the media would you welcome details being broadcast worldwide ? I have no idea if the rumours of a training ground punch up are true or not but the training ground is still a workplace and subject to employment law and the employees to confidentiality. The club is not there to satisfy the thirst for gossip.
