Not playing him doesn't mean that he refuses to consider him. He considers him, but decides he isn't doing enough (for whatever reason - poor performances in training, perhaps?) and so he doesn't select him. Not everything has to be some sort of conspiracy, you know.

I don’t care how bad Taylor is in training, or in his attitude, or whatever else Edwards’ reasons are. Giving him so little game time is dismal man-management, harming the confidence of a player who was one of the most promising strikers of League 1 last season.
