Jordan Clark 'is getting better and better' according to our glorious leader RE.

    Blimey

I wouldn't say that but he's not nearly as bad as some say

He has definitely been improving, still not at his best by any stretch but he's clearly been getting better.

He was superb against Sunderland and Watford, but terrible against WBA and Coventry, as he has been the majority of the season before Watford.
Many of our problems stem from being overrun in midfield. Clark is non-existent defensively. It’s not his fault Edwards’ tactics mean Clark is exposed but, now we have a full midfield to choose from, there have to be better options for a two-man midfield.

Not sure what people expect Clark to do.

He has two static forwards that don't make any where near the number of runs that they used. We have wing backs instead of wingers who are often not up with play. Other midfielders and defenders are behind him, which is a problem when we are starting from a position so deep. He's not blessed with pace or strength, technical ability is very good but he has such limited options.

Reminds me of Lawless, everyone wanted shot of him. But it was the midfield around him that didn't support him.

I am not sure he was superb…just better than he had been.Personally not sure him and Chong should start together as neither are great defensively which means we get overrun.
As an aside I looked at our team against QPR and on paper as strong as we can field now and we were poor against a very shit side….under cooked or what ?

Agree with your points but it's madness to say he's getting 'better and better'.

I think he is getting better playing in a position he's not used to and doesn't utilise his strengths.

But that said, he'd probably be getting better and better if we stuck him in goal each week too whilst still not being a good goalkeeper.

Current set up doesn't really suit him but he seems the best fit that isn't injured.

Walsh can tackle and, while his passing isn’t at Krauss’ level, he can knock it about. He’d get my vote, though I wish we weren’t struggling so much already - I’d like to see Nelson get a run, but I appreciate now isn’t the time.
