6 at weekends is fine, but it's now awful on weekdays. Need a 6 Extra for us older rockers.....

Love 6 music all week long.
          Missing Lauren in the mornings.

There is a great balance of old and new songs.
Mary Ann Hobbs always keeps it interesting.
I also like the evening shows New music fix keeps the finger on the pulse and Riley and Coe really know their stuff.

Radio 4 from time to time.
Radio 3 when I need to be a bit pretentious.

Don't miss Lauren Laverne at all, as my old grandpa used to say "she was vaccinated with a gramophone needle". She really belittles Mary Ann Hobbs on their changeover chats. Much prefer Gemma Cairney when she's on.

I like Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show but prefer Shaun Keaveny in the afternoon.

Yes Riley and Coe are excellent, but I wish they had their own shows again.

Turned up loud enough, it drowns out the screaming sirens coming from Bransholme

Sailed past Ross Revenge the other week.

Usual station of choice would be Kerrang but since I've been chauffeuring the in-laws about Fuerteventura I toned it down to Planet Rock.

            Cheers, Jim

It used to be Planet Rock and the likes, then discovered I could get Caroline through the PC (and probably phone if I wanted it). A nice mix of album tracks, some old, new, classics, and rarely played.

Caroline mostly for me. On line at home but the AM signal is OK in the car. Not keen on the once a month North weekends. It is great they are from the ship but I tire of wall to wall oldies.
