    Taylor again

There are rumours of a training ground bust up, but doesn't this happen at most clubs ?
We stopped his loan to Huddersfield and, by not giving him a run out here, are slowly destroying the bloke. If he's fiery, great, that's what we need.
At the end of the day, we need a different approach to the two big men up front, and he is surely a better option than Woodrow.

Not sure we stopped his loan to Huddersfield, weren't they under financially restrictions and not allowed to sign anyone?

Regardless of whether there was a bust up I’ve seen nothing from Taylor in pre season or coming on as sub to say he’s good enough. Also us playing lots of high long balls isn’t playing to his strength.

I’d also say the same for Woodrow. Whe we have him a lucrative contract extention last season is bizarre.

How about we stop playing the endless long balls that are clearly not working?

The new contract was put into his original contract when he signed, if we got promoted he got a better contract.

Whereas Eli has looked a world beater!!
Oh yer, he got 2 goals and scored a Premier league hatrick, he must be good,,,,,,,,,,or was.

He scored 10 goals last season delete being injured for nearly 2 months. I don’t think that’s a bad return. His overall game and home play is much better than Woodworm. Eli’s defending for us against opposition set pieces and corners is also very good.

If you can't see what Eli brings to the team you do not understand football.
                      He consistently puts in 100%

He is asked to press high and to drop back and press again, the delivery to him has been poor all season.

He nearly always has two or even three defenders all over him when the ball is played long.

We are hardly playing to his strengths

                              Plenty.

In addition he is one of our key defenders at set pieces if you bother to watch.
