Yes I can. It tells me that the formula used by the Labour Gov. for next years increase is the same as the one introduced in 2010 by the coalition. It has been followed every year since - with, I believe, one exception due to the recovery in earnings post covid.
You seem to imply somehow that next years rise is large in some way?

After the effects of inflation and the fact that pensions are taxable, whereas the winter fuel payments are tax free, I think the majority of pensioners will be worse off.

The policy of removing WFA from better off pensioners is pure common sense.

The problem is exactly where the line is drawn, but that's the only place we are currently able to draw it with the systems available.

It's a small minority that you really wouldn't want to see impacted which is genuinely unfortunate.

However, the worst off will be better off. The ones still getting it.

The increased efforts to make sure pension credits are applied for will also make a positive difference.

The OP's original insinuation was pretty poor.

As ever, those who don't make sufficient provision for their retirement are looked after, those who do, are penalised.
