Looks more like basil Fawlty,no wonder he took the German off
Krauss was excellent defensively and very unlucky to be taken off, but we needed players that can unlock a very deep defence and the two he bought on were both the type to do that.
So bravo Re for making tough decisions to try and win the game I say.
This board is full to the brim of compliments about RE tactical brilliance 🙄 How about he keep Krauss on and make other changes around our best player on the night instead? You know, what he’s paid the mega bucks to do He’s just a good Will media mouthpiece at the moment which is lovely but not why he’s in a job
If you think coming from behind a getting a draw at home is a positive then good luck to you My bar must be set slightly higher than yours I guess Enjoy your weekend
Did you not see Krauss pass in the first half and his through ball last week. By a country mile a better player than Clark. Clark would struggle to unlock his front door now, he's been absolutely shocking for about a year now.
We all know that Clark is below par, but we also know there is a good player there, who can work in tight spaces, he looks a little short of confidence at the moment. I believe Edwards is right to keep faith with him. I reckon all those slating him will have to eat their words before the season is over.
Not really, however you can not continually pick players because they used to be good. Midfield is our Achilles heel and he has been one constant in it
I would say Clark is the best option for that midfield player who gets up close to the forwards and tries to make something happen in the last third. IMO Krauss, Walsh and Pelly operate a bit deeper plus we know Clark may have a goal in him. Not seen enough of Baptiste,so not sure of his best position. Chong is another option to get up and play behind the strikers but he appears to be more comfortable coming from the left side, although excellent last night he can be a bit lightweight. If we can get a couple of results, confidence will grow and a few of the starters will look different players.
If we ever have a full squad to pick from he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. Hopefully we can pick up another midfielder in January and he can go and join Nathan.
