Adebayo

Plenty of effort but has shocking control and is really poor in the air for a man of 6 foot 4. Useful defending corners (apart from Coventry), but is generally ineffective. I'm sure we would be better with a more mobile partner for Morris like Brown or (dare I say it) Taylor. Adebayo is an impact sub IMO.

They did, but his all round game, apart from defending corners is a bit wanting.I think being subbed that early says it all.

Tell me what Brown did to influence the game when he came on.

His movement and energy stretches the opposition defence, unfortunately doesn't always look a goal threat.

really don't think he is our problem - I do think he is a good player more versatile than Morris to be fair - the service has been poor to both but either way we do score goals - main issue is total inability to keep a clean sheet - which when you look at our defence individually when fit should not be a problem. Feels like the lack of midfield cover is really what is causing the problem with the 2 inverted full backs playing in a 5 man midfield of whom only one (Krauss) seems able to tackle and track effectively

Decent post, HH. Krauss apart, our midfield is so easy to bypass. We’ve all seen games when we can see a breakaway goal unfolding as no-one does anything before the penalty area.
