    Watford game

Just watched a 12 min clip of the Watford game on utube which was great , but how can Luton play to such a high standard for one game and then play shit in every other game , they showed against Watford how good they can be , something wrong somewhere with the manager or the players I would suggest both.

We played well in the following game, even though we lost it, but ran out of steam, as we always do, when we got to the third game in a week.

I think that's a big part of it. 3 games in a week for the high tempo game we try to play means the squad should step in at times - but with our injuries its difficult to rotate. I recall 2016/17 when Kyle Walker and Danny Rose of Spurs were absolutely superb rampaging up and down the wings. But they could not do 3 games a week and had to be protected. Trippier and Ben Davies stepped in to give them a rest.

There has to be a plan B and C - shutting up shop, managing the game etc needs to be on that list.

Thereby hangs the solution. We seem incapable of seeing games out

Totally agree but his quote yesterday about sticking to beliefs - or whatever it precisely was - probably means we won't see a Plan B or C. Let's see how that goes

Interesting to see how Edwards handles this week. Another 3 game week. We can't rotate very well because the mountain of injuries prevents that (talking about injuries for the 2nd season running now. 3 in 4 if you count the 2021-22 season). However, why Pelly couldn't have started in centre mid on Saturday I don't know. Couldn't Nakamba have given us an hour against Coventry? Just to give some rest to 2 of the midfield 3 who had done loads of work against Sunderland and Watford?

In an ideal world, at the end of a 3-game week we'd be rotating at least 2 centre midfielders and the wing backs. But, of course, we have a stupidly long injury list, which is a whole separate issue for discussion

With the greatest respect other teams also play 3 games in a week and don’t run of steam, I still believe something is not quite right with the manager whether this relates to the players or something else I don’t know.

There is an article in Watford Observer right now, with Tom Cleverley saying they have 3 games in a week starting Saturday and he expects to use 20 players. Luton haven't got 20 fit players right now, which is why they run out of steam.

not including Taylor, who is fit but doesn't play.

Agreed. Coventry second half, we were running on fumes. Just a bad half of a match. (Out of 6).

Don't worry it was obvious that someone at least vaguely educated was impersonating you.
