    Away fans pubs.

There used to be designated pubs for visiting fans, not these days, it seems.
    Shame, in some ways.

It was Charlie Browns a few seasons ago. Now they seem to go to the White House though it’s not the official away pub per se

There's barely enough pubs in walking distance of ground to meet demand for home fans when there's a crowd of 11-12k plus, never mind away fans.

Not much point when the wankers are bussed in on Harry Potter Specials.

The thing is that they struggled to get all of the coaches and buses in Oak Road last time. With the additional allocation, it will be an even bigger problem this time. The only answer is more double deckers

who is responsible for this policy? last time watford fans who live local had to travel to watford to collect their ticket get on a Harry Potter bus and come back for the game. it is a ridiculous arrangement.

                    Partly police.

They said if Luton had club official coach travel then they would apply the same rule for reverse fixture, but luckily, we do not.

No sympathy from me. Hope they have a horrible day, watching their team get stuffed and having a long slow journey home after their coaches breakdown, preferably in Bury Park.

Presumably the OB. It means they can make sure all away fans are all together in the same place at the same time making it easier for them to police irrespective of how inconvenient it might be for supporters.

The police,…. it’s the same again this season …Dunstable Orn (if he exists) would have to travel to Watford to get on the bus to come back to Luton.

A few years ago Millwall fans had to collect their tickets from a motorway service station before they arrived in Leeds for that volatile fixture.

Didn't we have to do something similar for a game at Telford once?

That was initially going to be the case. The natch was postponed however for some reason ,( an EDL rally ? Not sure if my memory is correct).

The match was rearranged for a midweek and the original arrangements were scrapped.

That was the plan but the game was called off due to an EDL march in Telford that day.

Referred to as a "bubble fixture". Used to contain away support to stop any potential disorder. Burnley and Blackburn / Swansea and Cardiff/ Southampton and Portsmouth all use or have used this tactic before.

It's a shame but hear to stay I would guess
