A crossroads….

Maybe not quite there yet, but a few more losses, and I think we will. Football has been horrible, and it reminds me a bit of that John Still eta, and the point where the “fan” was singled out by Ronnie Henry for over the top abuse. The outcome of that, is often cited as the turning point of our ascent up the league.
Got me thinking a lot of the support that was giving RE grief and chanting “ we’re fucking shit” have in recent years tasted only success. It feels like the fans almost need something like that, to galvanise that old siege mentality. Personally I never Boo, it achieves nothing, I might be termed a Happy Clapper, ( no idea what that means).
Just feel , we need to get behind the team, despite how hard it is. Will Watford be this seasons turning point?

This isn't quite comparable to the John Still promotion-winning season. Yes, the crowd were anxious and impatient but Still looked as though he was building something and had bought in some very good players for that level. The fan/Henry clash helped Still as it gave him a real life example to help make the fans finally understand what he'd be saying the previous 6 months. And he used that incident very well
Today is more akin to the 2015 version of John Still, where our transfer strategy was a mess, our playing style or identity was not clear, we were very poor on the green and he ended up getting the boot in the November (or was it December) of that year
