To be completely fair, a few years back I'd have somewhat agreed that generally, being human-beings, that most politicians were as bad as each other.

That lot have just rewritten the book. There's no way anyone else would be so bent and not even bother trying to hide it. Genuinely unprecedented levels of corruption.

Yes, and I do fear that Starmer and co are simply not going to be good enough to turn things around but equally I do think they will be considerably better.

As you point out, what we have seen in the previous years has been unprecedented.

But some of the divs who posted were extremely thick.

And some of us who replied were undoubtedly cleverer than them. I mean it's a pretty low bar on here so doesn't really make any of the lefties super-intelligent, but why shouldn't jimmyp regard himself as some superior to some div who can barely string a sentence together?
