        Are we talking Sweet here?
Were you the one who suggested last year we sack him for getting promotion to the Prem?
        Was anyone suggesting it?
        Probably not eh?
        I still trust his ability.

Pwrhwps we should get a nurse to run the club, then?

Believe me, John Mitchell took a lot more money out of rh3 club a year than that amount.

Be careful what you wish for if you ate trying to atart some sprt of Sweet out camaapign based on how much tou thibk he earns (which woukd havw ibckuded a significant bonus for promotion to the Premier League).

To counter that have a look at our wage bill.
SWC pulled the plug on bank rolling the club leaving a wage bill that was 3x our income.
We had to sell players, plenty of people ( I suspect you included) looked at the accounts at the time.

How can it be justifiable to have a so called supporter earning in the top 0.05% of people in the country at a so called working class club who aren’t going to go Billy big bollocks.

David Kohler didn’t take the piss to this extent, and he didn’t have other peoples money to play with.

Maybe reducing the corporate wage budget could mean they don’t raise ticket prices every year ?

They did last year but we were in Prem.

And this year they did but more home games than last season.

And only modest increases they certainly did not take the piss in the Prem last season.

I think the general point is that lots of low paid workers work their arses off for little renumeration. A point that I'm sure you'd agree on. Likewise you're point about some who do sod all and yet get paid far more.

In terms of relevance I think the issue is that money is a commodity rather than a reward ie the harder you work rarely equals the pay you receive.

Whether that's morally and ethical fair or right is a slightly different issue.

Isn't that the point of capitalism?

Gary works for a business which has been very successful for years, relative to its previous recent history, so was paid a salary and bonus that the club could well afford.

Any of you could have saved the club and insalled yourself as MD if you had the nous, but you didn't.
