Wouldn't it seem reasonable that the FA would not want that part of the flag on view.

If we want to continue to raise the profile of the club by hosting these games do we really think it's a good idea to have the flag on view?
There are many stadiums more than capable of holding internationals at this level, so I assume we are doing something very right to have been awarded the game.

Surely it's best to build on that rather than derail it.
No one is saying forget what happened but we need to move on and be a bit more adult about this issue for the benefit of the future.

In all honesty they'd be best off taking down all flags and avoiding the controversy. Could easily say it's an England game not a Luton game as justification. Wouldn't have got many complaints.

I'd rather a bit of honesty from the club where they just come out and say they want to host more FA games and as such compromises and concessions need to be made. Perhaps raise the argument that building this relationship is beneficial for the club.

I'm a bit confused by your reply. Yes there's complaints about the current situation- I've made a lot of them.

If all flags had been taken down pre game I don't think there would have been as many complaints

You dont take flags down simple. They stay in situ. The Betrayed Flag has been there for years, at least since 2009. The FA knew it was there. The FA knows whats written on it. The FA know we sing bad songs about them. The FA know what we are about. The FA were told dont touch the flag. The FA agreed. The FA can go fuc themselves,simple.

I don't think they should take it down, just saying it would've been better to take them all down that cover up one. Would've generated less complaints

I often use this posting name. Especially when I'm serious. Time to move on, time for the club to move on, this kind of controversy can only do harm and hold the club back.
As I said the club must be doing a lot right to get awarded the game, why help undo that.

Take it you was heavily involved in all the shit that was thrown at the club before 2008 then, and all the shit we had after 2008.
The flag is a reminder of what we have been through culmilating in the FA sticking the knife in when we really needed their help.

I don’t personally know any of the people who fought for our club, I know of them and respect them and what they did. Life without our club would not be the same.

Tbh its only ever the few that change it for the many. Most are opiniated on everything under the sun but wont get involved for the greater good. I can accept that it is what it is. I know most who were and are involved and I know who the movers and the shakers were and are. People cant complain if they are not prepared to get their hands dirty and my hands along with many others are filthy.
