Sweet was sitting in the directors box and would have been watching it happen. He did jack shit about it. It’s an awful statement that smacks of dishonesty.
I didn't go last night but my eldest did. The first thing he said about the game was about the flag and took a picture of it. He was in main stand block b. He didn't mention anything about Gary Sweet bring present but no reason to suggest he wasn't. However, is it feasible that he might not have noticed? After all how many times during a game do you turn to look at that flag? Not saying he did it didn't, just trying to be rational.

If as the statement suggests senior members of the board were at the ground then this totally contradicts the above statement as at this point why didn’t they step in?
They have simply tried to hang out an junior member of staff to cover their backs with a statement that is hard to believe

Wanted - A new set of Kahunas, used to have a pair once, which helped when standing up to bullying by supposed governing organisations, but they appear to have been lost. This has allowed the bully to once again interfere with our proud history ! As Jim Royle once said, "escalate my a__e" !
