    I sent an email on the 24th August, regarding issues I had with LTFC+. No response.

    If my employees waited 2 weeks to respond to a paying client, I'd go fucking mental.Why does a business with a £100mil+ revenue not have the same urgency?

    The board are all apparent bussinessmen. Wtf is their credentials?! Running an inbox is business 101.

    My email read:
    To: Digital.Support@LutonTown.co.uk (please not this is the email on the payment confirmation email).

    Hey,

    Recently purchased an audio pass (Preston match). Received confirmation from the club that payment was taken, and money has left my account, but the confirmation email provides no link to the actual content.

    In addition, upon browsing to the LTFC+ section on the site, the package I've purchased just says "purchased" with no ability to click through anywhere.

    I'm trying to access via a mobile browser (Firefox on Android). I presume this is ok, as the site doesn't inform me otherwise.

    I also noticed that the date of the match is wrong on the page if this is causing any issues? (It says audio pass 23/08/24, not the 24th).

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. xxxx

        I sent a few emails to the club a year or so back. Some polite suggestions, questions etc

        Nothing overly important but heard nothing back at all. That’s just poor. Yes they were busy getting ready for the premier league but an auto generated message saying how busy they are and they’ll respond in due course, is what they should have done. Then maybe weeks/months later I could have got some sort of response.

        I can’t get my head around any business just deleting emails from customers. We have what 7000 season ticket holders (premium customers)to manage. It can’t be that hard.

        Obviously on the pitch, where it matters they have delivered - but this is still crap customer service.

          Just an idea

                I'd hazard a guess that your business involves relatively few clients that make up individually large portions of your revenue and would walk away if they are given consistently poor customer service.

                A football club is entirely different. The customers are fans and are not likely to take away their business in any but the most extreme circumstances. The revenue earned from LTFC+ is also inconsequential.

                Not saying that the club won't want good customer service, just that it's not as important as for most other businesses. And there's plenty of big businesses with shit customer service.

                There's probably a simple explanation anyway - unmonitored email, overwhelmed by LTFC+ issues, marked the email as read but forgot to deal with it. Who knows? All could be done better, but so could lots of things in all sorts of businesses.

                  Reasonable points. Perhaps those that aren't so great with customer relations should be sent to sit in the ticket office and observe Mike's team to see how it should be done.

                    There are certainly some who go above and beyond and our ticket office is a great example, as are dedicated employees and volunteers at football clubs across the country. Can't expect it from everyone though, and even so there are only so many hours in the day.
