Wow! Well played! Great great song

The video is crap, but a strange reversal of how that vocal 'phasing' was achieved. In those 'primitive' recording days there was lots of brilliant innovation and inspiration.

I'd forgotten all about that one 👏

Nice one. I was watching the late Gary Moore on You Tube the other day. Sublime

Certainly was. And he got inspiration from this largely forgotten man. Not a single foot pedal, no gimmicks, just an absolute guitar genius. A sad,sad story and death too.

Check him out mate, you'll love his stuff I'm sure. He never conformed, was a 'difficult' man, a drunk and died in a police cell in 'mysterious' circumstances. I heard this tune, simple but beautiful, on the radio one night years ago, followed it up. Some brilliant performances on YouTube. No talking, no special effects or pedals, just him and his guitar. Let me know what you think!

And, as a little 8 year old, I heard this in a cafe in Skeggie, on holiday with my parents. It shaped my musical future

On Spotify , I've compiled a playlist of songs that have made me stop and listen/affected my musical taste since the late 50's.
Interesting collection, about 900 songs so far

                                  Haha, it'll soon be 1000+!

What absolute life changing joy there is in music. Spent the afternoon at a freebie BBC Philharmonic concert recording for Radio 3. Two completely new composers to me - Louise Ferrenc and Gian Carlo Menotti - and a fantastic song cycle by Mahler.

Followed by the new Mercury Rev album - released today - and some great FNIMN tunes on here.

                                  Excellent!

                                    That sounds good.
I love all music. While I was working in the Soviet Union I was lucky enough to be taken to the Bolshoi Ballet. Gotta say, I preferred the music to the dancing, but what on experience.
We get some good classical stuff at Hull City Hall
