The railway system is better than some countries, but is over 100 years old and poor investment from successive governments. Indeed many rural lines were closed down by both parties.
As far as train drivers, well they are overpaid befor Labour approved their obscene payout. Bus drivers are more skilful and are very poorly paid by comparison.
However, the point of your post, a duplicate of previous posts is just to invite people to pile in so you can play the victim.

I have 2 jobs and earn less than £27 k year. I have shares and stocks and shares investments. far better returns than a post office savings account. So you don’t need large sums of cash to spare.
