    Millwall away

I am always surprised that we don't take more to Millwall away, very easy to get to. Anyone know why this is?

Walk from/to London Bridge. Cheaper and avoids that nonsense alleyway from/to South Bermondsey.

Or walk 10 minutes to Old Kent Road and get a number 21 bus to London Bridge.

Quite often an early KO and on TV. That puts a lot of people off.

Unnecessary aggro getting away from the game.

High ticket prices for what isn't a particularly glamorous fixture.

Good news is we'll always take around 1500 and they tend to be the louder, more boisterous fans that go. Makes for a good atmosphere (helps when you don't have someone asking you to sit down!)

          Where is the aggro after?

I have seen it before but I've found afterwards there's been no issues because we are held in that alleyway for ages whilst home fans disperse?

I think being held in that alleyway is what he means by aggro.

Last time I went there we walked straight out (after winning 2 nil), you're only held in the alleyway if you go to the station.

Only sign of any 'aggro' was a few embarassing old men in those stupid Millwall flat caops getting very angry and bouncing up and down on each side of our (very loud) support when we were singing 'you're not scary any more'!

They got even more livid with people laughing at them. You can call their team with no response but telling them they're not scary - hah! Balloons.

As an aside, that weirdo Ron/Mike was posting about me during the game - and as usual, he got completely the wrong person. Sad, sad, man.

I hadn’t realised you had a choice to not go in the alleyway. Is there a obvious alternative?

Yep walk in the opposition direction away from the alleyway.

Cheers. I got the impression that the Police would only allow you to go towards the alleyway. Anyway I’ll try walking the opposite way a week Saturday.

I think they want you to do that, but they can't force you too.

if as I assume that you don't look like a trouble-maker then you'll be fine.

I expect our resident troll twat 'pretending to be Luton but supporting Millwall' Ron/Mike will soon be along to answer that under a dozen or more different names....

There was 1 game a few years back then the police just started randomly whacking people with batons in the walkway to the train station after the game.

Fans from behind were impatient and pushing, the police just lashed out at everyone at the front who was being pushed towards them.

That might have put some off going again.

Only issue for me is the long wait after the game to get the train to London bridge

Yeh shit kick off time but still it's only just over an hour from Luton.

I thought Mike had said in a previous thread we only got 2k as they don't expect us to sell more based on previous visits?
