That should ensure we are league one bound !

More likely to see Ricky Hill than Campbell.
What can a player who can't get a kick of the ball at Millwall possibly add to our team?

Stupid argument. Any fool can see he would have been a better option than an inexperienced youngster ( one that in time could be quite a player). Knife through butter springs to mind

Not at all, he's not up to Championship standard, although I will concede you're possibly far more gifted at management that RE and his staff.
He'd be foolish not to take your wisdom in board

All that knowledge and experience really worked wonders in Monday didn't it? The evidence doesn't really support your argument

Therefore I assume you can back up your assertion that you're a better manager?

Apart from the goal I'm not sure what Nelson did wrong. In fact at times he looked fairly impressive showing much better ability with the ball than Campbell ever did, even at his best.

And it's been some time since Alan Campbell produced the displays we all loved him for.

I don't think it's quite the given you suggest that he would have been better.

The game was going on around him, he was knackered after an hour and is physically weak at the moment.
None of which was his fault, look no further than the manager.

Don't believe Campbell would have allowed Burnley to waltz through unopposed

Am I the only one that thought Baptiste did alright the other night? A rare bright spot

If all healthy, with current personnel, it'd be a midfield of him, Nakamba and Clark/Pelly rotating depending on opposition or game situation

He did ok and reminded me a bit of Lakonga. More to come hopefully.
Amazed he came off before Nelson, maybe protecting him,but the game was over by then.

It was a very big ask of Nelson against one of the better teams he will come across this season. Thought he showed some nice touches but in hindsight would have been better to gradually introduce him from the bench as the season progresses

He was my man of the match (not a great accolade, admittedly). A lovely ball to set up Doughty's cross for the goal.

No Baptiste was decent enough but had nothing with him
Lost out a few times duet to a lack of options

Saying Nakamba is a big miss is true and has been since December 2023 ffs!

I thought he showed some great touches, the issue was the lack of movement from our players and the quick closing of Burnley front 3-4.

I see Baptiste being a very positive signing, provided we can keep him fit with a nice balance in midfield

Yeah although not sure how Campbell is not considered to be good enough to fill in for Nakamba whilst he's out.

Short term he could probably do a job but something has obviously gone wrong for Campbell here

Also, I'm not sure Campbell is a CDM - more of a box-box player

Its a stramge one with Campbell i do rate him he nevers gives up when playing 100% most the games he has played.

Fans always think that players who run most are trying the hardest. If a pro is not giving 100% he shouldn't be on the pitch.
