And ended up in 3rd place.

Stop the bloody moaning after ONE game.

This is the first time we've ever lost a game in the 2nd tier.

I've been following the Luton Hatters since November last year and I'm thinking of throwing my half and half scarf I got at the Liverpool game in the bin.

When I supported Man U in the 90's this sort of thing would never happen.

If we don't beat Portsmouth 7-0 on Saturday I'm going back to watching Real Madrid on the tv.

Compare the amount of post-match traffic on here after a defeat to after a victory

          Not at all.

          But the negativity is ridiculous.

So is some of the positivity. There are definitely issues that need addressing which the club aren’t doing. Just assuming it’s only one game and it will get better is blind faith. All I’m asking for is the club take some action to show that it will actually improve.

Fair comment it really was an encouraging performance and plenty too get excited about.

Other than the first 20 minutes of the second half I wouldn't say it was, no.

Very little of the opening 9 games in 2022/23 were either though.

I think that most clubs sussed out NJ's tactics in the 22/23 season and he struggled to come up with a plan B.

RE tweaked those tactics and we went on a great run of one-nils, certainly helped by the introduction of Nkamba.

It’s all well saying don’t moan, but surely you can appreciate it’s frustrating as hell seeing the issues were facing in both recruitment and tactics not being addressed, when they’ve been obvious for a long time.

Tactically, we’re going to face loads of teams intent on doing what Burnley did to us. Sit back, watch us struggle to play through and hit on the break. It’s exactly what Sheff Utd did to us last season at home.

Which then leads on to, if the tactics are sussed, what’s the plan B? Who can we bring in to change our approach? Currently, not a lot.

I’m generally an optimistic town fan, but as plenty have said, the performance yesterday was poor and could be seen coming a mile off.

I do think we’ll slowly kick in to gear this season for a playoff push, we won’t be near the top 2. But we need to find that gear as soon as.
