    In Fairness re signings

We cannot compete for quality championship players without breaking up the wage structure for the whole team. What's wrong with casting the net for quality lower league players, and yes spending some money. Maybe two or three out of 5 will be gems

If you are going out in the press and live on Sky saying that you expect to challenge for promotion then you need to break up the wage structure.

Its taking fans and potential players for mugs if you think you can do what we did 2021 to 2023 for the salaries limits we have set.

Brentford had a similar business model but they kicked on and are spending much more money because those "gems" are no longer available on the cheap.

100% agree - you either want to challenge or you don't!

Moneyball'ing this League won't work and if RE had said we want to reset build for the next two years then fine

But that's not what's been said - we've been told to expect a promotion push. At the moment we're bringing a knife to a gun fight

You will never hear a manager of a team that's just been relegated from the PL say that an immediate return is not the aim.

Get back to what we’ve always done. The club know that but don’t appear to be doing it. That’s what is bothering me.
