    Ambition

What I am not getting at the moment is, we did exceptionally well to get promoted from the Championship to the Premier League. We earned a fortune in achieving that. We worked our balls off to try to stay in the Premier League but fell short. We now have another opportunity to get back to the Premier League and earn another big money prize.
Yet we don't appear to be willing to invest in the squad to make that happen.

I know money has been ear marked for Power Court, but Power Court was planned to happen before we were promoted, there had to be viable financial plans already in place to make that happen.
Surely investing in the squad to make us promotion candidates and thus giving us a chance of further chances of financial gain is worth pursuing.

I understand we can't throw millions at the squad but there has to be players out there who could improve our group.

Don't ask me who or where, people are employed to do that.

The difference now is the we HAVE the PC cash.
Now last night could've been just on of those things, Burnley tend to be pretty good at turning us over.
However, it may be that the board's ambitions are to keep us ticking over until PC is finished. Once we have the stadium theory says we have the springboard for the Prem.
All well and good, unless you do a ' Sunderland's and drop down again.
I'm sure the club are looking at an immediate return, be ause the alternative path is a minefield that can blow us away.
