Are not players with the pace to chase nippy wingers all over the pitch {as JJ did last night) so hopefully once they’re back we’ll finally ditch this ridiculous man to man system that worked once (against Brighton) and go back to some solid proper defending. Here’s hoping
Will Mads ever be back? Been out almost a year. Bell is okay although not really Franco Baresi is he. Main problem is neither of them or Mengs appear to say much. Osho used to just point and throw his arms up and Kaminiski looks like a "nice guy". TL type character is needed urgently in my opinion because defending requires constant organisation and collective energy
Towards the end of last season I chatted to Mads Anderson. He said he had calf problems, something he had always suffered with, but was able to play through in the Championship. Couldn’t do that in the Premier League. Nice lad, but another Reece Burke I fear, injured more often than not
