We had upward momentum before with NJ, and we could sell a vision.
I fear the tide has turned, and we're not making the right signals; that Luton is the place to go to be part of something happening, where your career can boom.
We won't keep hold of Premier League quality players like Mengi, Doughty and Adebayo if we're not proving to them that we're on the way back up. And if they leave, well, it'll send more negative signals.
The club needs to decide whether they're banking cash and rebuilding for a Power Court push, or are investing the PL cash to stay competitive. Staying in this limbo and hoping for the best of both worlds is going to cost us dearly and send us on a negative spiral, lubricated with bad comms.
