All things being equal and if money was not your main driving force, if you were to completely change your occupation, what is it that you would do?
I have always been fascinated by this question and love to ask others because of the sheer variety of replies!!
So I will go first. I would love to be in charge of restoration at a heritage railway. Or if that was not possible, a Patissier. The cakes and pasties you see in proper places in France are exquisite and I would love to try my hand.

For the last few years I've fancied being an Arborist. I had one visit during covid and I envied him. Working with nature and on the face of it stress free.

7.46 in a Saturday morning and you want to be me. I'm really not great at 7.46am on any morning let alone a Saturday.
And whilst your question is a reasonable one you give yourself away easily as not being me because I've actually only ever been to France once, 20 years ago and stayed in a rural vineyard belong to a family friend of a mate of mine.

I'm a 70 year old retired teacher. But if I could have my time again, I would have chosen a career with plenty of access to the great outdoors and the natural world, maybe something like a ranger in one of our national parks.
