Horse Shares

Looking to do one of them syndicate horse shares as a gift for family member. Nothing serious, but any one who's done it before with any recommendations or suggestions of what company to use or how to get involved?

Would recommend ‘owners group.co.uk’. Shares from about 40 quid upwards, get a nice intro pack, chance to go to the racecourse and represent your horse when it runs, stable visits etc. have been involved 3 times with them, first horse only ran twice during the years membership and it was a bit disappointing to be honest so moved shares to a different horse which won its first 2 races, trainer really fancied it for the 2nd run at it won at 9/2, made back all the money we’d invested over the 2 years!! That horse really lost its form and so we moved to a third one which ran 6 times, placed 3 times, we didn’t renew after that but only because my health took a nasty downward turn, as I say I’d hugely recommend them

Owners group is decent. Doesn’t cost a lot And it’s a bit of fun. I knew a guy who joined few years ago and the horse won at Cheltenham
